Key Programs

Since the inception of the Ivory Club of Tampa Bay, several programs have been established in the areas of education and disaster recovery. This includes: University of South Florida Endowed Scholarship The International Student Exchange Program Scholarship Disaster Relief and Social Assistance Need-Based Educational and Social Assistance (e.g. Special Scholarships of $5,000.00 to Graduate School Students)

Origin of The Ivory Club of Tampa Bay

A discussion among four friends led to the formation of the club in 1993. These founding members served as the foundation executive council. Membership grew slowly in the early days with members predominantly from West Africa, and a few members from East and Southern Africa.
